A high-octane biopic about legendary Formula 1 driver Ronnie Peterson, who exchanged small-town Sweden for life in the international fast-lane. The film features world champions Niki Lauda, Emerson Fittipaldi, Sir Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and Jody Scheckter, along with Ronnie Peterson’s daughter Nina Kennedy. ‘Superswede’ is produced by NENT Group-owned Nice Drama and directed by Henrik Jansson-Schweizer (‘The 100 Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared’, ‘Midnight Sun’, ‘Thicker than Water’). IM Global Television has acquired worldwide distribution rights, with NonStop Entertainment holding Nordic rights. Cinema premiere in August 2017, followed by second-window premiere exclusively on Viaplay in December 2017.
